MYDIMA was established under the provision of Registrar of Society (Societies Act 1966) as a non governmental organization. Established on 22 September 2011 where the first meeting was held at SOCSO Headquarters Office, Kuala Lumpur. This Organization brings together various disciplines of its members in field of Disability Management to carry out social support activities to injured workers and PWD's. Professionals under this establishment consist of Rehabilitation Specialist, Medical Doctor, Case Manager (CM), Social Worker, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Insurance Officer, Return To Work Coordinators (RTWC), Human Resource Officer and members who are directly involved in the field of disability management.

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE ESTABLISHMENT

  • To provide exposure to members on knowledge in Disability Management, systematic case management approach and related theories.
  • To develop and maintain professionalism among members through the practice of ethical codes and knowledge in areas related to the profession in clause 5(i) of the association's constitution.
  • To foster public awareness on Disability Management systematic, systematic approaches, best practices and related techniques.
  • To organize, connect and collaborate with other organizations that have common goals and objectives.
  • To attract members in professional welfare.
  • To attract assist the association in implementing such matters as it deems necessary to achieve the objectives of the association.
  • To develop and introduce curricula and guidelines for professional enhancement
